Urbino Diary #1

Mercoledì 1 Agosto 2012, Urbino.

Sono arrivata nella graziosa cittadella da Sabato, l'appartamento in cui sto è piccolo e molto carino.

La Città è tranquilla , per certi versi molto simile a Città Alta, con la differenza che non c'è

una ''Bergamo bassa'', quindi tutto quello che c'è rimane all'interno delle mura.

Il corso è cominciato Lunedì ognuno dei partecipanti sta sviluppando il proprio carattere,

abbiamo cominciato prima creandoli a mano e ora li stiamo digitalizzando attraverso Fontlab.

Il programma lavora con i vettori è molto simile ad Illustrator, devo solo abituarmi.

Ho conosciuto molte persone interessanti e sono contenta, all'interno dell'appartamento non mi prende

il cellulare e  non ho connessione internet, leggo Italo Calvino.

Nella scuola c'è una biblioteca davvero fornita, con 4 scaffali dedicati completamente all'illustrazione,

ho fatto delle foto per alcuni libri che vorrei comprarmi!

I arrived in the nice city on Saturday, the appartament is little and super cute.

The City is quiet , and very similar to Città Alta, but the difference is there isn't ''Bergamo bassa'',

everything is inside the walls.

The course is started on Monday each one of the partecipants are creating their own type,

we started draw and than we are digitalizing with Fontlab.

The program works with vectors and is very similar to Illustrator, i need only to be confortable

with tools.

I knew a lot of nice people and I'm happy in the appartment i've not internet connection and the telephon doesn't work, i'm reading Italo Calvino.

In the school there is a library, with 4 shelves dedicated to illustration, i did pics for remeber

the books i want buy in the future!
